Red Rose is a sofa manufacturing company based in Blackburn that produces a wide range of models in different styles and materials. Our task was to create an internal software that can help to increase production by incentivising employees. We created a bespoke software using the PHP Laravel framework that enables the company to monitor and measure the performance for every job role in the production process.

The software we created was very complex due to the large variations of products, jobs, employee roles and bonus structures. It took us around 5 months to complete the software to perfection. The software has full task, timer, reporting and calculation functions.

We then liased with an IT company – Creative Networks – to implement the system by installing monitors on each station of the production process where the employees have their own logins and can see the bonus they earn if they complete their task within the targeted duration.
